Client Indianapolis-based firm comprised of two distinct companies which provide quality electronic products and industrial repair services to customers across the United States, Canada, Europe, and Asia Pacific. 
Challenge Executive management realized that its existing sales reports provided consolidated data that could not be easily transformed into meaningful information capable of driving business decisions.  The management team lacked certainty around the accuracy of internal sales information.  Additionally, the reporting solution being used required the manual integration of data from several disparate source systems and was proving to be cumbersome, inefficient, and at times, contained incorrect information.
Solution digitalKnowledge designed and implemented a consolidated data warehouse capable of housing data from multiple ERP source systems as well as incorporating a reporting structure based on SQL Server 2000 and Crystal Reports Server XI. The new solution not only provides the company with first-time access to integrated corporate sales data across multiple divisions and international locations but also enables users to deploy and access reports through a web-based interface.
Results In a little over two months, digitalKnowledge designed, built, and implemented a single, easy to use set of tools to obtain and analyze accurate sales-related information across the entire organization. Today, the company is relying solely on this new system for accurate and timely reporting and analysis.  Management now has quick and easy access to meaningful data that can be used to drive sound business decisions at a corporate level.
