Community: Baker Hill’s Silent Auction Benefiting Coburn Place |
As part of our local philanthropic focus for 2007,
digitalKnowledge was proud to be a part of Baker Hill’s 5th
Annual Silent Auction which this year benefited Coburn Place
Safe Haven.
The auction raised more than $5,000 which was then matched by
the Mark and Karen Hill Foundation with an equal $5,000. Through
those combined donations, Coburn received more than $10,000 from
this year's auction.
digitalKnowledge donated a new Acer Aspire Laptop to the
fundraising efforts, and we were excited to learn that it was
the item that raised the most money at auction! The winning
bidder was Pete Harrington from Baker Hill.

Coburn Place is a local self-sustaining long-term housing
program for women and children who have left abusive
relationships. The organization provides a broad range of
supportive services to prepare women for emotional, financial,
and physical independence and security.
