dK Launches Internship Program

digitalKnowledge hosts first intern in company history through its participation in the Interns for Indiana Program through Purdue University.

digitalKnowledge,Inc. is excited to announce its first intern beginning May 2010.  The company was selected to participate in Purdue University's exclusive program, Interns for Indiana, funded through the Lilly Endowment.

The program's objective is to match Purdue students with small, entrepreneurial companies to provide valuable experiences for both the companies and the students.  Past statistics have proved the program successful as seventy-percent of graduated Interns for Indiana students stayed in Indiana after graduation.

The digitalKnowlege team is pleased to welcome Bart Sides as their 2010 summer intern.  Sides is a Computer Science major at Purdue University and a resident of Zionsville, Indiana.  He is a member of Phi Kappa Psi fraternity, as well as the Engineering Project In Community Service (EPICS) group at Purdue University.

Sides responsibilities will include improving the company's internal processes, as well as working closely with consultants through client observations and project tasks.

digitalKnowledge's internship program will also include both training and mentorship.  The company's training program for associated consultants, dKu, will launch in June.  Sides will have the opportunity to participate in different training sessions and courses with dKu.  Through this process, digitalKnowledge hopes to give Sides an educational experience that will help him grow both personally and professionally.

As a company that is continually growing, digitalKnowledge believes that this first internship will serve as a stepping-stone and, and along with the company, continue to grow and expand.
